Abstract Submission Period

February 15th (Wednesday) to May 12th (Friday), 2023 at 5:00 PM Japan Standard Time (JST)

June 13th (Tuesday), 2023 at 12:00 AM Japan Standard Time (JST)

Presenter Eligibility

  • There is no requirement to be a member of the Japanese Society for the Study of Xenobiotics (JSSX). Both members and non-members can make presentations.
  • Only one presentation is allowed per person. However, this may not be applied to co-authors listed on a collaborated presentation.
  • Presenters are required to register for this meeting.

Type of Presentation

  • Presentations are posters only.
  • However, the Meeting Organizing Committee may ask poster presenters to make an oral presentation at the symposium. Please register whether or not you can give an oral presentation.
  • All the presenters are requested to present their own research during an indicated time in front of their own posters.

JSSX Best Poster Award

At this meeting, the "JSSX Best Poster Award" will be awarded to JSSX members who have made outstanding presenters.

If you would like to apply for this Award, please choose "Apply for JSSX Best Poster Award" from the pulldown menu, when submitting your abstract. Also, please select the relevant research area from (1) Basic Research, (2) Applied Research, and (3) Research in Industries. The JSSX Best Poster Award Selection Committee will select finalists for the Award.

The finalists will be interviewed by the JSSX Best Poster Award Selection Committee on September 26th (Tuesday) and then the JSSX Best Poster Award winners will be selected.

The award ceremony will be held during this meeting, at which a certificate and a prize will be awarded to the winners. Further details of the award ceremony will be announced later.

ICCP450 Best Poster Award

At this Annual Meeting, the ICCP450 Best Poster Award "Klaus Ruckpaul Award" will be awarded to young scientists, e.g., students and postdoctoral fellows, who made outstanding poster presenters.

If you would like to apply for this award, please choose "Apply for ICCP450 Best Poster Award" from the pulldown menu, when submitting your abstract.

A selection committee will review the submitted abstracts and posters, and a couple of presenters will be awarded.

The award ceremony will be held during this meeting, at which a certificate and a prize will be awarded to the winners. Further details of the award ceremony will be announced later.

Language

The official language of this meeting is English. Poster preparation and presentation as well as abstract submission must be in English.

Presentation Title

  • The title must be no longer than 180 characters.
  • Capitalize only the first letter of the title.
  • No period is needed.
  • Superscripts, subscripts, and italics are available, but not line breaks.

Character Limit of Abstracts

  • Write your abstract in order, such as [Purpose], [Methods], [Results and Discussion], and [Conclusions].
  • The abstract must be no more than 2,200 characters.
  • The total number of characters (including the title, authors' names, affiliations, and the main text) must be no longer than 2,500 characters.

Acceptance and Classification

The Meeting Organizing Committee is in sole charge of the decision of acceptance or rejection of the abstracts. The results will be notified by e-mail in late July.
